Founded in 1993 by actress, Holly Robinson Peete and husband, former NFL player, Rodney Peete, the HollyRod Foundation is a recognized California based 501c3. The HollyRod Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and providing resources to families that have a loved one who has received an autism or Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis. We advocate for ethical treatment, inclusion and access to services and treatment of individuals living with autism or Parkinson’s Disease with the goal of empowering them to live their best lives. |

We’ve Got Friends | We’ve Got Friends is a program that provides hangouts for teens with special needs. It’s a simple idea that has an enormous impact on the children and families who participate. Most teens with special needs have no sort of social circle. They have few friends and rarely get invited to parties or hang out as their peers do. This program helps these teens develop their very own social group through music, meals, movement, crafts and dance. We’ve Got Friends is currently raising money to build the foundation and staffing for our programs. |

Family Network on Disabilities

Family Network on Disabilities (FND) was founded in 1985 by a group of parents of children with disabilities who came together for mutual support and information-sharing. FND is a grassroots organization for persons with disabilities and their families that is family-centered and family-driven. Family Network on Disabilities is a national network of individuals of all ages who may be at-risk, have disabilities, or have special needs and their families, professionals, and concerned citizens. The mission of FND is to strive for the complete integration and equality of persons with disabilities in a society without barriers and to serve families of children with disabilities, ages birth through 26, who have the full range of disabilities described in section 602(3) of IDEA. FND is a parent organization as defined in section 671(a)(2) of IDEA 2004. |

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Academy for Community Inclusion (ACI)

The FAU Academy for Community Inclusion is a college program for high school graduates who have been diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program allows students to earn certificates in supported employment, supported community access, and supported community living. These certificates are offered in an inclusive college environment on the both the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses of FAU. The program allows students to participate in college activities, clubs, events, and organizations that are available to all FAU students. |

The unemployment rate for adults with developmental disabilities has remained close to 90% over the last few years. Founded in 2013, Marino Campus provides a 10-month comprehensive experience to prepare young adults for employment and independence. The Marino Campus educational model blends classroom instruction, business internships and social enrichment opportunities to help equip our students for the real world. |
