Life is so challenging today for everyone. It’s difficult to stay focused on the goals for our children/adult children because there is so much going on in the world today. Take some time in the wee of the night when it’s quiet and everyone is asleep and journal. Write down those goals you want to see them accomplish within their limits. Write down the things they ask you to do each day that you may think are impossible. I’m sure when they tell you what they want, they are beaming with hope that you will do it. I remember when my son was 12, he asked me, in his own words, to find a way to bring kids together who were diagnosed with autism, so they could socialize and make friends. I didn’t know how, but I figured it out and because of that he started talking and socializing more with peers his age. Let’s start trusting God and give them hope by just trying. Let me know if you need help, I’m here to assist.
